Choose from our range of Classic, Ultimate, Laurent-Perrier or Takeaway afternoon teas. Each one is the perfect treat to add to your day while you’re out and about in the lakes and visiting Bowness on Windermere. You’ll also be glad to know that you are a short walk from the lake and the Windermere Jetty Museum, all the local shops and there is plenty of parking. But make sure you get here early as it can be extremely busy in the summer.

Artisan sandwiches at our Bowness cafe
Have a seat in our cafe in Bowness on Windermere. Take a bite of one (or two) of our scrumptious artisan sandwiches.
Our Fizzy Tarté artisan sandwiches are in a class of their own. Hand-prepared by our Fizzy Tarté chefs, and presented in six different varieties of freshly baked, chunky white or granary bread. Our sandwiches are generously filled with only the best and freshest ingredients.
With a selection of tasty savoury sandwiches to choose from, whether you enjoy yours with a glass of Champagne, or while soaking up the atmosphere in our outdoor seating area with a hot drink, being good to yourself has never tasted this good!
All sandwiches are served with a salad garnish and a side of crisps and can be enjoyed from 12pm – 5pm daily.

Alongside our cold sandwiches, hand-prepared by our Fizzy Tarté chefs, and grilled to perfection in local sourdough, are a range of hot sandwiches, which have been toasted until golden & crispy!
With a selection of tasty savoury sandwiches to choose from, whether you enjoy yours outside on our cafe terrace with a hot drink, or inside our cocktail bar with a classic or a top tarte cocktail – being good to yourself has never tasted this good!
All toasted sandwiches are served with cornichons and pickles and can be enjoyed from 12pm – 5pm daily.
