How to make our Classic Cosmopolitan Cocktail – The insider recipe
The legendary Cosmopolitan is a simple cocktail with a big history. It reached its height of popularity in the 1990s, when the HBO show “Sex and the City” was at its peak. This light and fruity martini uses Vodka, Cointreau and fresh juices and is a great choice for a casual night in. Our top tip is to chill the glasses in the freezer beforehand for an ice-cold tipple.
Ingredients you’ll need:
35ml Absolut Citron Vodka
25ml Cranberry Juice
12.5ml Lime Juice
125ml Cointreau
Orange Peel
How to make:
Shake the vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice & Cointreau with ice really hard.
Strain the ingredients into the glass.
Peel an orange and squeeze over a flame into the glass after pouring.
Use the orange peel to garnish.
No shaker?
You can use a water bottle or jar to shake your ingredients together instead.
