Where’s the best place to watch Lake District New Year’s Eve fireworks?

Beech Hill Hotel host a brilliant firework display most years and can be seen from Bowness bay, just a minutes walk from the Fizzy Tarté.

However, Once the ferries stop running, Bowness Jetty is one of the most romantic places for a midnight picnic in Windermere. Ideal to watch the best New Year firework displays in the Lake District, or rather everyone else’s!

By joining locals at the Bowness on Windermere jetty, you can witness the grand finale as the clock strikes midnight. There will be plenty of firework displays, but from Lake Windermere, you can almost see them all.

How can you book for Afternoon Tea?

Of course, food is a big part of Christmas, and as the saying goes… eat, drink & be merry!

What better way to celebrate with friends?

When it comes to a Lake District New Year’s Eve, however, you’ll find it’s a more relaxed affair.

So, with substantial quantities of alcohol, it is always advised to have some form of food available. We’re not suggesting you whip up a four-course supper before bringing in the new year, but some delicate patisserie and scones will go down a treat.
