The Fizzy Tarté Ollie Visionaries

We would like to wish our talented mixologist Ollie Eardley good luck for his 1800 Visionaries competition entry to win £2000 towards pursuing his cocktail making passion!

This year, UK bartenders were challenged to create a recipe inspired by an iconic artist from the worlds of art, style, design and music. The competition is open until midnight on the 5th of August 2019.

Ollie’s cocktail ‘Can’t Stop The Spirits’ is inspired by his love and expression for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers band and their song ‘Can’t Stop” and when we personally asked him what why the Red Hot Chilli Peppers were his inspiration, he told us… “They are an iconic band within the industry and have played a significant role in my music growing up as a drummer.”

Ollie’s Cocktail Recipe

  • 35ml 1800 Anejo

  • 15ml Bruxo Mezcal

  • 12.5ml Homemade lime and chilli shrub

  • 12.5ml Agave Syrup

The Finalists

All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges including last years 1800 visionaries champion Callum Baines, Priximo’s tequila educator Oliver Pergl and the Difford’s Guide’  Simon Difford.

The most impressive six entries will be announced on Difford’s Guide and invited to take part in the finals later this year in London, where they’ll present their cocktail to the judging panel and compete for first place.

The Prize

The winner will be awarded an incredible £2,000 cash prize to help pursue their professional passion and express themselves creatively.

Good luck Ollie!
