How to make an Amaretto Sour at home – The inside recipe
Combining amaretto with amaretto, fresh lemon juice, rich simple syrup and Aquafaba creates a perfectly balanced Amaretto Sour. Originally from renowned bartender and cocktail blogger Jeffrey Morgenthaler who improved on the Amaretto & sour mix recipe.

You will need:
50ml Amaretto or (Disoranno)
25ml Lemon Juice
20ml Aquafaba or 1 egg white
12.5ml of Sugar Syrup
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Cherry & Lemon Peel (optional)
How to:
1. Pour the Amaretto, simple syrup, Aquafaba (or 1 egg white), and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Shake and strain into a glass filled with ice.
3. Add 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters.
4. Garnish with a cherry and a twist of lemon.
For Sugar Syrup
1:1 of sugar & hot water – eg. (100ml hot water/100g sugar) Then leave to cool.
