Our gluten-free classic afternoon tea for 2 people is a classic take on a traditional afternoon tea in the Lake District. It comes with a delicious range of miniature cakes and sandwiches, plus a pot of tea or a coffee beverage of your choice and is perfect for those looking to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea experience.

Vouchers: If you have a voucher please call us Monday – Friday, 11am – 4pm on 01539 443773 to book.
Weekend bookings: Whilst we do accept walk-in bookings, we strongly recommend booking your afternoon teas
on both weekdays & weekends due to the popularity of the venue.
Children: All children under 18 are welcome on the terrace until 7 pm.
Although our terrace is not bookable, we will do our best to accommodate you.

We’ve searched far and wide to find suppliers who can deliver a quality that matches our expectations, and we can proudly say that we are working with Ginger Bakers, a local company to bring you this gluten-free afternoon tea option on our menu. As well as them we use another quality supplier for our scones.
Please be aware that whilst we take the utmost care in how we handle food, we do not operate a totally gluten-free environment.
We hope that between the selection of cakes and sandwiches served that you get to experience a sumptuous range of flavours from the sweet to the savory and a little bit in between.
