THE LAKE DISTRICT BARTENDER COCKTAIL COMPETITION
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BAHA & THE LAKES DISTILLERY
Why hello there cocktail connoisseur! Are you here to hear about the Lake District’s biggest bartending cocktail?
If so, then you’re in the right place!
If you’ve ever heard of The Fizzy Tartè, you’ll know that 1. We’ve worked with some of the best bartenders and mixologists from across Europe and 2. We’re passionate about all things cocktails! Which is why this Autumn, we’re working in partnership with The Lakes Distillery and BAHA to bring you an exclusive competition with a one of a kind prize, for mixologists and bartenders alike who want to celebrate their love for cocktails, cocktail making talent, and the Lake District.
We’re looking to show off the amazing talent that Cumbria bartenders have, as well as the passion, enthusiasm and creativity when it comes to making outstanding drinks. A competition for bartenders from all over Cumbria and the Lake District to produce a cocktail which encapsulates the natural beauty of the Lake District using any of the spirits produced at The Lakes Distillery. So if this sounds like you, and you want to show the rest of the UK your bartending talent and spirit that prove the best cocktails aren’t limited to the big cities such as Manchester, Leeds and London then read below to find out to enter.
So… How does it work?
- Create a 30-90 Sec Video of the drink being made (must show spirits used in the video).
- Your cocktail recipe (must contain at least 25ml of any Lakes Distillery spirit).
- Tell us why you think the cocktail best encapsulates the natural beauty of the Lake District.
How to Enter:
- Upload your entry to Instagram tagging both Fizzy Tarte and The Lakes Distillery, whilst using the hashtags – #thefizzytarte, #BAHA & #lakedistillery
The Finalists
- Our Panel of judges will then pick 6 finalists. Announced on 23/10/2018
- We’ll then hold the finals at BAHA on 08/11/2018. At the finals, you will have the opportunity to make your submitted cocktail live in front of a small audience. This will be streamed live by The Fizzy Tarté & Lakes Distillery on facebook.
- The winner will be announced on the night.
The Prize
Prize – VIP tour of The Lakes Distillery, a stay at the award-winning Trout Hotel in Cockermouth plus a 70cl bottle of each of these Lakes Distillery spirits: The ONE, The Lakes Gin, The Lakes Vodka, The Lakes Rhubarb & Rosehip Gin Liqueur, The Lakes Elderflower Gin and The Lakes Salted Caramel Vodka Liqueur.
